How to Choose a Proper Eddy Current Separator

Eddy current separator is one of the most widely used equipment in the market in recent years. It can effectively separate some materials by using the principle of eddy current magnetic field rotation, and can separate copper, aluminum, zinc and other non-ferrous metals. At present, there are three types of vortex current sorters in the market.
1. concentric eddy current separator,
The surface of the high magnetic bar is used to generate a high frequency exchange magnetic field. When the material passes through the high magnetic separation zone from the hopper, eddy current will be induced inside the metal block, so as to separate the non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum. If the material is too large, it needs to be broken by a crusher first.
2. Eccentric eddy current separator
Different from the traditional equipment, an eccentric magnetic roller is arranged inside the non-conducting electromagnetic rod, which can be said to be an upgraded version of the concentric eddy current separator. When the eccentric eddy current separator can separate the material which the concentric eddy current separator cannot separate.
3. Non-ferrous metal eddy current separator, also known as eddy current metal separator,
A driven drum is added on the basis of the eddy current separator. The eddy formed by the high magnetic field intensity can spread evenly over the surface of the entire drum. The magnetic field range is larger, the area of the material that can be separated is larger, and the separation effect is more obvious, which can ensure the efficient and stable operation of the equipment for a long time.
When purchasing the equipment, customers should find the appropriate vortex current separator according to their actual material conditions, so as to achieve the appropriate effect and avoid their interests being damaged.
